Originally, Felix Gerach simply wanted to become a doctor. Today, alongside his medical degree, he often spends long evenings in the laboratory researching one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer: glioblastoma. Here, he explains why he is so passionate about combining clinical medicine and research.

Studying a STEM subject brings new challenges – even for those who did well in maths, physics and other such subjects at school. To ensure a successful start to university life, the UDE is offering preparatory courses for prospective students and first-year students from 17 August to 2 October.

The E-Team at UDE has unveiled the A40-06 Beta, the latest generation of its fully electric Formula Student racing car. Around 70 students from a range of disciplines independently designed, developed, manufactured and assembled the vehicle.
